Introduction

"ISRAEL REPORTED DEVELOPING 'ETHNO BOMB'. THIS BIOLOGICAL WEAPON WOULD HARM ARABS, BUT NOT JEWS, ISRAELI SOURCES SAY"

Regarding this issue, and as usual in respond to the important news, I wrote this article about this very important issue to be published in "Almasry" newspaper from Montreal, Canada in the November 1998 issue.

This article has been removed fearing the concern of some Egyptian and Jews groups, they tried many times to persuade me not to write any thing against the Zionist or USA.

Effort will be made in other direction, and I hope that I will be able to find other papers that are willing to continue the fight with me against the control of Zionist groups.

The original article was prepared in Arabic so it might be not well translated into English, however the Arabic original is available to be faxed.

I would like to note that it is not the only article written about this issue, it first appeared in at least one Israeli newspaper then published in "Sunday Times" then in "The Montreal Gazette", where I found it is important to be written with an Egyptian, Arabic feeling.

What a beauty to see a scene that returns your memory back, a memory that never stopped, but it is usually in need to be recalled from the background of your mind. It was the cover page of "Elmahrossa" paper that brought to me many of those memories and thoughts. It is a scene that returns to us memories we forget or tried to neglect.

That scene presents many thoughts and stories and brings to our mind, the history, the present and our future, all together.  But that scene also brings to us sad memories in what remains from Sphinx "Abi-Alhawl" nose, Sphinx has been built to remain strong defending the Pyramids, this sphinx is a lesson still remaining to our day.

He represents the ability to defend with a sad look at his face that has no nose after being destroyed by Napoleon. When he tried to destroy all Sphinx but succeed only in removing his nose.

Napoleon has gone as did many other invaders, but only Sphinx remains to represent the people fighting for the future while his face full of the sadness because of his lost nose.  All of us know what the nose represents to us, it represents the ability to fight and defend our right.

The broken nose fills our heart with sad feeling for days without any law or principals, people looking only to what enters their pockets and not concerned about the source or the price.

The problem becomes bigger and bigger, when our surrender becomes the first step in the killing of our children and our people. We know it is forbidden that Arabs to own any weapon could harm even the feeling of their enemy, it is forbidden for Arabs to defend or even imagine that they have the right to defend themselves against their enemy "Zionism".

All this has come to my mind when I read the article that has been published in "Sunday Times" and in " The Montreal Gazette" later.  We are quoting from the Sunday Times article.

"…Israel is working on a biological weapon that would harm Arabs but not Jews, according to Israeli military and Western intelligence sources.  The weapon targeting victims by ethnic origin. In developing their "ethno-bomb", Israeli scientists are trying to exploit medical advances by identifying distinctive genes carried by some Arabs then create a genetically modified bacterium or virus.

The intention is to use the ability of viruses and certain bacteria to alter the DNA inside their host's living cells. The scientists are trying to engineer deadly micro-organisms that attack only those bearing the distinctive genes.

The program is based in the biological institute in Nes Tziyona, the main research facility for Israel's clandestine arsenal of chemical and biological weapons.

A scientist there said the task was hugely complicated because both Arabs and Jews are of the Semitic origin. But he added: " They have however, succeeded in pinpointing a particular characteristic in genetic profile of certain Arab communities.

The disease could be spread by, spraying the organisms into the air or putting them in water supplies.

The research mirrors biological studies conducted by South African scientists during the apartheid era and revealed in testimony before the truth and reconciliation commission. The idea is parallels with the genetic experiment of Dr. Josef Mengele the nazi scientists at Auschwitz.

Dedi Zucker a member of the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament, denounced the research stating that "Morally, based on our history and our tradition and our experience such a weapon is monstrous and should be denied".

Some exports said that although the concept of an ethnically targeted weapon was feasible, the practice aspects of creating one were enormous.

Dr. Dean Goosen, head of the South African chemical and biological warfare plant, said his team was ordered in the 1980s to develop a "pigmentation weapon" to target only black people and his time discussed spreading a disease in beer, maize or even vaccinations but never managed to develop one.

However, a confidential Pentagon report warned last year that biological agents could be genetically engineered to produce new lethal weapon. William Cohen, the U.S. defence secretary, revealed that he received reports of countries working to create "certain types of pathogens that would be ethnic-specific". A senior Western intelligence source confirmed last week that Israel was one of the countries Cohen had mind.

The "ethno-bomb" claims have been given further credence in Foreign Report, a Jane's publication that closely monitors security and defence maters. It reports unnamed South African sources as saving Israeli scientists have used some of the South African research in trying to develop an "ethnic bullet" against Arabs."

I think it is enough, what we read from the article that has been published in The Sunday Times, and the time has come to return back to Sphinx "Abi-Alhawl" to ask him, what about us Arab what do we eat? From where do we import the fertilisers and the insecticides and some of the grain for our food? We would like to ask Sphinx about our children, since he was there for five thousand years, and he will remain there more then any one. We would like to ask our relatives here, how they will receive this information and what is their reaction to that. We would like to ask our relative in our homeland how they are going to deal with this nightmare? For those who live in the occupied land, how they are living with all this circumstances?

We will be back to Sphinx to ask him " Did the action of Napoleon increase your strength? Or will you be one of the victims of the -ethno-bomb-"?

Prime Minster of Québec

Dear Mr. Bouchard;

Your attendance of the 50 anniversary Gala of the creation of Israel is a mater of public relation that no one in your position can refuse to participate in.

Attending an event is something different than speaking, because the speech is your creation and a speech is represent the speaker and his people, not himself personally.

It is too sad to found a person in your position does not recognize the different between the facts and the nice words.

In your speech terrible mistakes that can not be at any time close to facts or even personal point of view.

I will take some examples from the speech to show you how fare you went without take a time to distinguish between the history, the facts and the points of view.

1- in your speech you refer to the Hebrew language stating that  “Israel is the only country in the world where the children play in the language of the prophets”

There are 20 Arab Country with population of 140 million their children play for more then 1400 years in the in the language of the Prophet “Mohamed” the Arabic Language that belongs to more than 1 Billion Muslim in the world.

2- in your speech you refer to the creation of Israel with democratic way!

I wonder, how any one can mention that neglecting that the history of Israel starts form Balfour declaration for a land for the Jews people in Palestine.  Then the immigration of the Jews without acceptance form the original People and the using the Holocaust fact to destroy people and take their land.

Mr. Bouchard, Israel is a country of 5 million where 1.5 million of them are Arab live there with no right of ownership and more than 3 million out side has no right to return to their homes.  Is that what you consider a democratic society, I hope that you will not apply this on us Québecer and Canadian.

3- in your attendance the Ambassador of Israel to USA has mention that they never took one inch of land that not belongs to them.

It could be a point of view of one person but who many UN resolutions had condemn Israel for the occupation of the Arab lands. Is there is any country can condemn the Arab for occupation of a land that not belong to them?

Sham on me to be a Québecer Canadian and not respond to the lies and the misleading of the people.

Misleading the people is a very easy task but one can full the people in many occasions even for long time but never be able to full the people all the times.
