October 6th 1973 or 2003, what is the difference?
“…if the Palestinian authority
still has some loyalty to its people it should dissolve itself and leave the
occupation not the decorated show of government..”

Thirty years ago it was October 6th 1973,
the day Arab armies (Syria
and Egypt)
broke the silence on the land captured by an army know for occupying lands not
belonging to them.
That day is the day that people in
every corner of the world reacted to the surprise move from the armies that had
supposedly been defeated 6 years earlier. The Arab people reacted strongly with
happiness and fear, happiness for the honor that they would experience after years
of humiliation and self defeat. The army
did a good job to a certain extent but they were limited by the capability and
the honesty of their political leaders, so the defeat came from within, and that
was what the people feared.
Wars never end at the battle field,
otherwise the Soviet Union would have defeated
Afghanistan,
USA
would have defeated the world from before Vietnam, Guatemala and now Afghanistan and
Iraq,
but they did not.
Thirty years ago on October 6th 1973, the Arab
people waited for the right moment to celebrate the victory but their leader
defeated them with pessimistic and none realistic slogans.
Quotes: “The USA is supplying the enemy
with a full scale of modern technology”, “We can not fight a war against the USA”,
“We have to accept the new reality”, “All the cards are in the US’s hand”, “It
is the war that will end all wars”, “We have to break the psychological wall”, “I
will make peace under any condition”. So they started the individual treaties
and that was the real defeat.
Than those leaders did surrender
completely and sold out their people’s dreams, but they were not able to force
their people to accept this ridicules slogans considering a war to be the last
war.
Arab
leaders went more than this by accepting the ridicules condition of the peace
treaties in Camp David and Oslo, the peace plans that never gave Arabs anything
but a promise of defeating their future and confusing their history. Many of the political analysts spoke about
those treaties stating that “Peace projects that will end all possibility of
peace”.
The occupation forces, and I am
referring hear to the USA and the Zionist mentality in the west or in the
Middle East, started to play their old game by moving step by step in attacking
all principals while the Arab leaders enjoy retreating in front of them, until
we reached the point we are experiencing now where everything is upside down.
While the occupation is killing
everyday Palestinian and the US’s army was preparing to attack another Arab
country from its neighbors’ lands, the so called Kings and Presidents met to
announce to the entire world that they legitimize the occupation and accept the
two state solution without determining boarders or status!
The freedom fighters are called
“terrorist” and the real terrorist proclaim that they are acting in self
defense. What a humiliation to see a so called new Iraqi army saluting their enemy’s
appointed king or administrator as they call him.
Then the Arab league accepted the
American administration in Iraq
as a legitimate representative of Iraq, is the USA planning to
change the Arabic language as part of the reform that will include language,
history and religion?
While the Zionist forces supported by the USA
is killing tans of the Palestinian daily and making the life of the balance miserable,
and while US’s regime impose sanction on
Syria, our friends in the Egyptian regime are helping the Zionist to recover
from the strike of the ports labors by unloading their products at Portsaid, do
you know what Portsaid stands for, return to 1956 and the history will explain
to you!
The Arab would be defeated from within
as any Emperor, and that is what the USA and international Zionist are
doing. The real reason of the war on Iraq has never been oil, they might
have used the oil argument to finance this war, but is about the greater Israel and it
is there.
This is the reality thirty years later on
October 6th 2003.
What can we do and where are we going? The
Arab people have to take the matter in their own hands and to drop their so
called leaders, people have to refuse dealing with the American
administration in Iraq, and if the
Palestinian authority still has some loyalty to its people it should dissolve
itself and leave the occupation not the decorated show of government.
All
of them have been eaten with the first one been targeted! Once American
secretary of state Henri Kissinger said that “There is no war in the Middle
East without Egypt, but there will be no peace without Syria”, and that is why
Syria was usually number one on the list of USA’s targets, but because of the
international circumstances Iraq came first. After there bad experience in Iraq, USA could not
attack Syria,
so Israel
will. With these miserable conditions of the Arabs regimes, who can stop them?
Daniel Pipe one of the top advisors to the USA policy makers and
the most right wing racist person usually says that the peace will be certain
when Arab accept their defeat and live with it. The problem with Mr. Pipe and
his alike is that they never understand what Arab stand for. Arabs will never
be defeated, their army or their political leader could but never the will of
the people. And that is why the Zionist are not able to have it there way after
more than a 100 year of planning and 50 years of power superiority, still the
10 years old stone throughers are stronger than their tanks and their airplanes
even as they are supported with the so called Arab and Muslim leaders.
